Browser Are the software used to view world wide web pages. The first web browser was written by Tim Berners-lee. The first browser to obtain popularity was Mosaic, which was written by Marc Andreessen.

Mosaic is the web browser credited with popularizing the World Wide Web. It was developed at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) beginning in late 1992.
